Battery

Was the first charge on the battery with a wall charger? The first charge should alway's be. You will not get a full charge with a peak charger. After a overnight charge you should cycle the battery and see what the battery discharges and charges at. After this you can use a peak charger all u want.
I have the same battery in an Fury Extreme with 4-9252's and a 601 and i get 3 flights.

Do exactly what Rick S. reccomends!, but cycle it a few times, after a slow charge, It will come to life!,

Did you trickle charge it first then cycle it a few times first before use?

I run a futaba 1500 4 cell nicad. 3 9252, 401/9254, 3001. 50v2.
I get 3 x 13 minute flights easily

Regards Don

I have the same problem. Brand new 1700 mah, and I only get two flights on it.

I did peak charge it the first time. Can I save it? Can I cycle it, and then wall charge it or what?

Thanks,

Scott

Yes

you can get it back. Do as i described above with afew cycles and it should correct your problem. Just make sure you get at least 1700 in it after .

.
You might want to check your current draw, just to make sure you don't have anything 'bottoming out' mechanically. I use an Astro Whatt Meter, but I fly electric planks and it's an essential. Even something simple like a throttle can draw a lot of current if it's being held back, especially so with your digital servos.

Cycle that pack slow a couple times, see what it comes up to. BTW, most cyclers are off 5-10%, the $200+ ones are pretty accurate.

Flying helis since gyros had springs.
