What kind of muffler are you using with OS 70? MPII haven't come out yet.

Thanks,

I'm running the MP2 for the 90 size engines works great. It doesnt govern the motor like it does on a 90 but it works good on it.

I started with a Hatori then tried a MP2 90. With the MP2 90 it took a noticeable hit in power. The MP2 90 runs well it just doesn’t bring the OS70 up to its power potential.

I have gone back to the Hatori until the MP2 70 comes out.

MPII 80/90

Yup!! I'm using a MPII 80/90 on my OS 70 SZH.

All installed in an XL Fury, only just started to run the motor in but so far very impressed with both the motor and the heli.

I chose the MPII after talking to the OS 70 users and to Curtis himself about the exhasut choices for the OS 70 and most were using the MPII. The main thing people were saying is that the 60 size mufflers were choking the OS 70 causing running running problems but those who were running the MPII were saying it was a not a perfect match just as Ben-T-Spindle has mentioned but it was the best choice available.

Depending on how it performs once broke in i may just keep the MPII 80/90 fitting but i may change to the MPII 70 once it is released. I have spoke to Curtis about the development of the MPII 70 and he mentioned that because people are having very good success with the MPII 80/90 on the OS 70's that the development keeps getting pushed back to make way for the 30/50 MPII's.

I think go with the MPII 80/90, i am pleased as punch with mine!

Cheers!
