I bought the like90 kit for my Dragonfly, with the blades, motor and head stifener. The motor didn't have the right connector for my heli, so I unsoldered the wires from my old motor and replaced the ones on the new motor. I got everything installed and went to go try it out.

First thing that was wrong was the blades were spinning the wrong way round. I was pretty sure I had soldered the wires with the red and black the way it was, but I could be wrong, so I reversed the connector. The blades then spin the right way round. Now though, when it starts to pick up speed, but before it ever lifts at all the blades start making a horrible squeaking noise, when I stop it I can see they are twisting in on themselves, instead of staying straight out. I am not sure what I have done wrong, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

R0dney21,
I have the Like90 kit on my Hummer at it flies great. What I would suggest you do is to make sure the blades are parrlalel to the head and each other have someone pick up the heli for you by the blade tips and then snug down the screws that hold the blades. These blades don’t like to flop around like the stock blades. I have found that the Johnson motor bearings needs a drop (and only a small drop) of a lightweight lubricant. As the motor is quite dry. Something for Model trains or slot cars is perfect.
