I bought a Venture 30 from a member here on RR and have test flown the helicopter. The heli was not put together properly for the tail boom would always loosen. I have fixed the problem, however the guy I bought from denies any fault. Is there any recourse through RR at all?

No, you buy things from others at your own risk. What's the problem with the helicopter you bought? If it's just not put together right, no big deal, just take it apart and fix it. At least nothing is broken or missing.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

It is much easier and much cheaper to ship, AND safter for the machine, to REMOVE the tail boom.

But that's hindsight.

As for your complaint, all I have to say is . . . . .

Glenn.

I'm not really an R/C pilot, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last n

D-Boogie, your first post it to slam someone… I think you should lighten up a little. Everyone puts something together not quite right from time to time.

The less time I have the more I get done.

Did you get a good deal ?? Probally you did. I know it may upset you that something was not just like you think it should have been , however the seller may not have had everything set up right....so... it's still easier to check everything than it is to start from scratch. It really does sound like it was a very honest transaction.

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.... Dennis

If thats the only fault you picked then thats not bad mate, you should always check over everything anyway, give the seller a break he just missed a couple of bolts.
