Hi,

It does not look too bad.
How are the tail boom and the AC Hub ? unharmed as far as I can see ?

Too bad for the blades and canopy, although the canopy could be repaired.
The vertical fin can be glued back with two tiny sheet of carbon.
The Horizontal fin
The frames, electronic parts... look OK
One Spindle, likely the main shaft is OK (It took 4 crashes to a friend to sucessfully bent it), few links. Were the delrin guides in the head dammaged ?
Something I do not understand : I counted 4 ruined blades on or around the 3DNT ???

So 250 Euros total (excluding the paint). I had friends who crashed several times their helis (not 3DNTs) minimum bill was above 350 for each crash maximum was a complete kit.

Now that I have more experience with the 3DNT, I found them pretty reasonable in repairs after crashes.
The last crash I saw, a friend who did not notice that the engine died until it was way too late, his 3DNT fall at full speed. 150 Euros to repair it as the canopy was damaged but could be used again. (Main blades 100€, Spindle, one delrin part handling the landing gear, one aluminium tube for the landing gear, flybar was repaired)
By the way the fiberglass canopy is really stronger than the carbon one.

A good idea is to tight really hard the main blades, so that they are destroyed at impact without hitting the tail boom or the canopy.
It absorbs a lot of energy, then the flybar is only lightly bent, and the delrin fuse part in head are usually unharmed.

Pascal , great crash report

I have the new four bladed rotor head , No really , My friend crashed his about 10 mins before me and we put them in the same pile.

The Tail boom was cracked and broke away right at the base with the body , All fins are ok with minor damage which can be glued. Canopy could be fixed but i will get a new one for now.
The Spindle has a very very slight bend on the one side when rolled on glass so I will replace it , not checked the main shaft yet but will replace that anyway,

Other than that , I had lost 2 links , broke 2 servos gears , delrin guides *2 nylon bolt for the tail support , flybar . V Blades Survived OK . Broke the 2 ball links 0128b in the flybar assy .. Canopy and blades.

Totally agree on the resonable crash side , As I said my friend crashed his freya before me and that look TOTALLED big time.

Also while its in the garage , i will upgrade to the carbon main gear and get some v main blades .

sideways loops with the second one a tad low to the ground. I wanted to go low so when it hit the ground it took me 2 to 3 seconds to kill the motor. Believe me the NT does everything better that other helis even the chicken dance

I still say the NT is cheaper to crash than my CS or Tempest.
