If we only answered the original question, the world would be a boring place!!

If Caesar had asked on March 14th, "will I die?", the formal answer would have been," yes". A more informative answer would have been, "yes you will, and oh by the way, take today off and enjoy yourself."

I would say go for the Fury. I own both a Vigor CS, and a Fury Extreme. As well as a Tempest 3D/FAI. I think the Fury flies better that the Vigor CS, and is good to go out of the box. I don't much care for having to dremel on the swashplate of my new heli to eliminate all of the binding that there is in the system. Plus the cup dampening in the head of the CS is a joke at best. Even Curtis doesn't like it. Don't get me worng I like my CS, but no where near as much as I like my Furys.

Oh, and DrLodge said that the VIgor CS has a carbon tube driven tail. That is incorrect, it is aluminum. Much like an arrow shaft. The Fury has a carbon tube drive in it. And I beleive the guy he was responding to was reffering to the Vigor Std, which was a belt drive system. I have owned both at one time or another. Just thought I might clear that up.

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Vigor CS

I own 2 Vigor's and 1 Fury Extreme. One vigor has a OS 91 SX H with 8.45 gear ratio. It was my first one and it flys really smooth. The second one has a OS 91 C Spec 8.0 gear ratio. Also have several up grades on the second vigor. The First vigor I run the blade speed at 1750 and the second one at 1800 RPM. Both machines fly a lot better than I do. The Fury Extreme has a 91 YS and 8.45 Ratio. I am changing it to 8:18 because I can run higher head speed. The fury flys really smooth and rolls and flips quicker than the Vigors. How ever I like the way the vigors fly in higher winds. The fury tends to pitch up in FFF. I am working on that and for now I seem to have fixed it but time will tell as I only have about 10 flights on the Fury. Glad you bought you a Vigor CS I don't think you will be disappointed. Good luck and If I can help in any way let me know.

The pitch up usually it attributed to the paddles. I set my Tempest up with 90mm V-Paddles and that all went away. Mine did the same thing in high winds before the paddle swap. Now it is ALL good!

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

I installed the 90 Vpaddles and for now it seems to have fixed it. Time will tell.
