Last Reminder
Things are shaping up for a great time. Remember we start at 10:00 am on Friday, this should allow enough time to get a few cups of coffee down and get here Wide Eyed & . . .you know the rest!

- We'll have the Coke Trailer on-site with your favorite products.

- Domino's Pizza with 4 choices of the good stuff on-site.

- I've got the entire group booked for Dinner at 6:00 pm at the local Buffet we Invaded last year . . .the manager finally gave in and "HE WILL" give us our own section (I made him an offer he couldn't refuse!). It's just three miles away!

- I've got a "Killer" super secret "First Prize" for the Extreme 3D Experience . . .Kym, there will be some head-hunters . . .so I hear. Just a short 4 minute 3D routine to your favorite song and it could be yours!

- And we have changed the rules for our "AUTOROTATION" contest this year . . .you'll hear about it in the pilots meeting! I think DUC and KYM had a tie last year and Good ol' MARC . . .well lets just say he had plenty of help! Our members and friends had it rebuilt before he hit the Dinner Line! One GOOD AR and you could be "IN THE GREEN"

- Last but not least . . .Mac is cooking up that Famous "Copper Mill" Dinner but he threw in some Grilled Chicken Breast's for a little variety! Boy I miss those Dutch Oven Potatoes . . .

We've had great support from all the Utah LHS's for our event, please thank them by "Keeping Utah Green" remember by "Shopping there" you will "Keep them there" please show them your support.

See you on the Flight Line,
BigRagu

Great Job
The weather wasn't the best but it went off to say the least. What a great time, I got to kick the turbine loose although I found it hard to fly in the gray sky. One of the best up and coming fly ins around. It was great to fly with all the guys from SDHS and the guys in nortern Utah. You couldn't ask for a better group Terrific job again Dario

Spring Celebration
Well it's over . . .we needed the Rain here so I can't gripe too much!
The short breaks gave us plenty of time to "Bench Race" with everybody car-car or Trailer - Trailer . . .boy "I Need one of those!!!"

I appreciate your comments Gary and your Turbine really cooks. [No I'm serious . . .you could roast weenies near that pipe ]
JUST KIDDING.
You did a great job, just put your glasses on next time please.eek:

I really need to thank the LHS's especially Pat (Scooter) from Some Dudes Hobby Shop in Salt Lake City.
Eric Bowers from World Class Models in Orem.
Scotty & LR at Earl's Hobby Hangar here in Logan.
I can't forget Larry Bergen via FedEx.
Thank you ALL for donating some great products for our drawings.

You guys keep practicing those Auto's for "OKTOBERFEST" because September will be here sooner than you think!

Until then Ciao',

TURBINE
I went both days. Had a great time! The weather sucked! The flying was great!
This guy, Gary Travis, flew a turbine powered helicopter. Absolutely awesome!!! When I grow up, I want one.
Then he gets out a Shogun 400 electric and flies it in gusting wind and it flew steady as can be! I had him order one for me. He wouldn't sell me the one he had (I think he was having too much fun). Anyhow, looking forward to next time...

I'm the guy from Nebraska. Had a great time and was well worth the trip. Seeing Gary rip the sky with that turbine and bail out from a near disaster was almost worth the trip by itself. I'm only a so so pilot and felt very comfortable flying with some of the best pilots around. Looking forward to a return trip at their new field.
