Problem with the XTR is that you may want to spend close to $1000 on a new computer setup including the graphics card the sim recommends (Radeon 9600 128mb is about a $150 card right now in stores). Sure you can cut down on the resolution settings if you computer is not up to par, but that defeats the purpose. G2 is definitely the way to go if you don't have the funds to upgrade your computer.

Zoom,

Perzakly!

If you already own a great computer, get the Reflex XTR. Just make sure your machine has much more capability than the minimum. These games (!) have a habit of requiring more resources than initially stated.

OTOH, I remember when G2 came out and the buzz was much like it is with Reflex. I own G2 with all the upgrades, it does all I need it to on my PIII/450 clone. When I get the new 4Ghz box, the addition of XTR will be but a drop in the bucket when compared to the cost of the new box.

I agree. If you already have it then then the XTR is the way to go.

4Ghz!!!!! That thing must be a monster. I did not even know they were out.

The fastest CPU I have seen is the 3.4Ghz and a cheap 3.2 is running $733 and that is a big discount.

XTR no doubt and also you don't need an expensive new computer you just need a very good video card that's all. They happen to come with the new high end computers and people think that it's the computer that made the difference but in reality it was the high end video card the one responsible for the performance boost.

They're not. I'm waiting for 'em...

Really depends on what's available when I go to Computer Row in Chicago. My brother has a 3.2 Alienware, I'll have to trump that pretty hard.
