When I bought my Eolo I had also considered doing a conversion on one of my glow helis but the price of lipos for it was the deciding factor in getting the Eolo! Even nimh packs for the .30 size helis are close to $100 Lipos for my Eolo where only about $80

Lipo's

Hi Steph
you talk about going lipo's what about 3s4p, I always thought this was the best setup for someone with the Twist 37 .
As for me lipo's are a bit too expensive for my pocket

BTW are you a fireman

3s4p are only best if long flight times are your desire, a 3s3p would still handle the loads very well and give long flights at a reduced cost and weight. if you are after all out performance with your twist a 3s2p would be your best bet at half the weight as a 3s4p you would be able to fly aerobatics much better.

Right now the 1800's are only giving me about 9 to 10 min of mild flight so might start to run them in a 5s2p when I start to fly a bit harder so I dont cut into the flight time too much.
