Lou:
That heli crashed. I did see it. I just saw in the ground, after it happened.
It did not have the landing gear.

What a great looking micro-heli! Is this some version of a T-rex? Is it already available? Any kit details?

Lou

Bummer about that 3DMP...

That orange and green helicopter belongs to Jack and it is the new X-400 from ARC. Same guy who designed the TREX.
MIKI

If its not scale I ain't flying it, unless its a TREX

I started taking photos Friday morning. The event started the day before. Apparently there where a few mishaps Thursday.

very cool...

This is pretty neat. Just guessing, but is this a Mikado based heli? If so it's about time someone did a scale Mikado. Kudos to the pilot and builder.

Well, there are a few Mikado parts in it

It is a very old Vario kit that had a Wik body.

I built it to fly electric, Kontronik Tango 45-06 and 8s4p Thunder Powers. Weights a little over 11 lbs and would fly a lot longer than I will on a charge.

Glad you liked it.

Al Doucette's "top secret" project.

Al's scratch built CH-21, in "Classic Rotor"color. Hope to test fly as soon as I replace my transmitter that burned up saturday.
