Event Details: Saturday and Sunday were perfect days for flying and the pilots had a great time. The food and drink was GREAT and was supplied at no-charge thanks to our most gracious host Bob Pinto. We had pilots that came to the Gathering # 2 from all over the country. We had open flying all day Saturday and Sunday with a few Demonstation flights by the Szabo Boys and others. They even had a demonstration flight of a turbine R/C scale helicopter. Bob was very fortunate in that he had extremely good support from premiere vendors that donated items for the event contestants. Hopefully more vendors will step forward and donate to this worthy event for the Gathering # 3. Additionally, Bob Pinto donated a Raptor 50 with a Futaba 9C radio system for the Grand Prize. Bob also had a hospitality suite in Atlantic City for all the contestants. Thanks to everyone that attended. The Atlantic County Skyblazers really enjoyed having you attend their Event. They and Bob hope to see you next year.

Raptor 30/50 Custom Gear Hub
Red and Gray gears with countersunk screws installed. Also, Gear Hub with stabiizer screws.
Gear Hub
Red gear with Hub installed.
Side View Gear Hub
Gear Hub assembly installed on main shaft.
This is the hub I made to replace the OEM white gear that is shipped with the Raptor 30/50 V2 helicopters. Unlike the OEM gear this unit has "No Drag" and rotates freely. The red gear utilized is from the Raptor 30/50 V1 kit. The countersunk screws are 3mm X .5 and 10mm in length which are cut to fit. The same screws are used in both the red and gray gears. The stabilizer screws are 3mm X .5 socket head cap screws cut to length.
