I have had the Hornet II all winter and already have changed things and fixed stuff and tinkered with it
This is what I did. Maby you can use some of my ideas and post some of you own for this post

didn't like all the extra wire

Saw somone elses thought it was cool

That will keep it on this time

No more play

Keeps it from flexing

Less slop

What do you think?

I could use a mod to keep tha canopy on better.

Either your Azarr antenna is on backwards or mine is!

Looks nice - the fun thing with the hornets is all the do-it-yourself tidbits that you can play with.

To stiffen up the servo tray, here is a more effective way to do it - the black square would be the main frame, the blue squares are servos, and the thin black piece is the servo mount. This would be looking forward or backward at the heli. The red pieces are gussets.

Thanks Baracus...I have to say it works fine the other way too! I get a very good range check.

I am going to see Azarr on Friday in Toledo, I'll confirm that with him. The instructions do not specify wich end to solder it to.

Heli88,
Mine came with some basic instructions, hence the reason I know it should be attached this way.
Let us know if you find any conflicting information, I have never done a range check on mine.
