My Posts This: Topic Forum | I have family in Israel & am very sad to hear this.
I wish his family a long life.
Once my Shuttle got into the sun & was heading for me so I crashed it on purpose to stop it from hitting me! It hit the ground 30ft away from me & bounced off the pilot's fence to my right & stopped just 5ft away. I counted my lucky stars after that one.
I cannot stress enough how bloody dangerous our helis are. They're essentially flying circular saws with tip speeds over 250mph/400kmh. Each blade is just as deadly as a bullet if it breaks loose.
I'm deaf & value my eyesight & get very nervous even hovering 30ft away. My worst nightmare is going blind from a blade taking my eyes out. Extra nervous when checking the tracking. I try to keep my heli at least 20ft way when hovering at all times.
Play safe, guys & keep your wits about you, helis are not toys! |
