$36.75USD for a set of stock main blades is a rip www.flying hobby.com in Hong Kong has the same parts for $22.00USD and you can bet he's making a profit. Sounds a like a big pricing error or somebody trying to slip one past the uninformed customer. The base kits at RcmHeli are also $30.00 higher than flying-hobby, so shop around guys

There arent that many places to shop around Hoverup, also I noticed the blades are pricey, but all his other prices look good and fair to me.

They also charge no paypal fees, like flyinghobby does charge paypal fees. And you will notice that all the prices on www.RcmHeli.com are the same prices as flying hobby or a bit cheaper.

I got my main blades discounted to $29 USD, they do great package deals.

Why 1700 RPM head speed? a 4200kv motor @100% w/10 pinion sounds just right for me! I like 2000+RPM on my 30-90 models and even more on the smaller birds. The tail could use the speed anyways

Fung said he mailed my Zoom on the 6th so maybe I'll get it one of these days

Btw, anyone try heat + gws pinion puller on the stock gear?

Read the thread again. I'm flying the 2025-4200 with a 10t pinion on 3s packs. Headspeed above 2 grand works great.

Well I just pre-orderd my zoom from kmp in ThunderBay Ont. Should be here in a very long month, (is it here yet!) Still not sure what to use for parts in it, esc, gyro, battery, servo.
Andrew Kondor is who ive been talking with and he has been great in answering my emails and phone calls, very friendly, also I look forward in dealing with him more in the near future.

I ordered my zoom from Fung on 4th. It shows that it left the Hong Kong post office on the 5th and I'm still waiting for the mailman everyday. It should be here anyday. The tracking number only shows the package leaving Hong Kong, I wish I could track it further.

It gave me enough time to get the rest of my zooms needs:
3 HS-56hb servos
1 HS-50 servos
GY240
Pixie 20 ESC (brushed)
6 channel RX

I'l use the stock motor for awhile and then upgrade to a brushless setup once Hoverup tests every possible combo

Hmm,

I used http://dev.asdf.co.nz/RPM/

4200kv
3 cell
85% throttle
3.7v per cell
10 pinion
130 main gear

Answer was head speed of 3048

Some how it's 700 rpm out ???
Pitch, Weight, Load issues?

Regards,
Martin...
