Only running 2 cell LiPoly to keep the revs of the Razor down - prepared to switch to HiMax 2025-2700 with 3 cell LiPoly if need be.

Regarding pinions - has anybody tried pinions from Kyosho MiniZ racers? Not sure what pitch they are, the MiniZ motor has a 2mm output shaft and they do have 7, 8 and 9 teeth pinions. In addition there is one MiniZ Delrin pinion that is very long - check this link out:

Let's hope that this little heli ships/sells in volume over the next 6 months - purchasing and upgrades would both be good then...

I have the exact same set up. So much power that I'm only running 70% at idle up, with over 2,000 head speed.

But, just the other day I was experiencing the motor cutting out. I'm guessing the speed controller can't handle the amps.

What speed controller are you using and how many amps?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Thinking of the zoom as my next heli but dont have alot of expieriance with mixing. I have the hi-tec 6channel laser with manual epa and rudder and aileron adjustments. Do I need a different radio if I get the zoom. Im not ready for 3d yet but dont know about mixxing

My designs. LG is from MIA-MicroFlight tied to the Zoom chassis with a pair of CF panels that hopefully will be available from MJP Carbon soon. The CF Gyro/Servo mount, CF fin set and CF battery tray extension are available now from MJP Carbon. DIY kits for the CF boom supports and T/R pushrod will be available soon from the same source. A CF tailboom with 4 Boca ball bearings is in field test now and may be available also if testing continues to go well.

I also received a email from them this morning that they will have the main motor pinions in stock in a weeks time for the Himax brushless motors.
