IM GETTING 6 MINUTES OF FLIGHT WITH 3300 NMH 10 CELL BATTERY PACKS WITH A PHONIX 45 CONTROLER AND A ASTRO FLIGHT 020 OLDER STYLE MOTOR. SHOULD IT BE BETTER THAN THAT. THE PINON IS A 15 TOOTH. IT HAS ALOT OF HEAD SPEED FOR FLIPS AND LOOPS. WOULS A HACKER C408L GET MORE FLIGHT TIME AND MORE POWER? RON

I was getting about 9-10 minutes with a 10-cell GP3300 pack and a Hacker B40-8L with a 15 tooth pinion. Headspeed is about 1650. It was about a minute or two less with a 17 tooth pinion.

That was with the MS 420 blades. It looks like I lost about a half a minute stretching the VE to use the 475mm blades.

I'm in agreement with Lance....I was getting about 8 minutes with the earlier Astro and a 16t pinion and 8 cells NiMH and KSJ washout blades. The pack times started out on the low side and got better after several cycles. What is your total weight ready to fly and what blades?
