I am new so definately wait for the vets to respond, but I know for sure that several of the people doing air shots are using a mount that allows a second TX to control the camera. Some have 270degree movement or more.

That´s not a constant. Each angle for each job. What do you want to shot? That what is in front of you? Down the heli? Close target? Far one?
I set the tilt angle in flight according to it and usually between 90º (vertical) to 50º in most of the pics. More than 50º will show lot of sky (except in Jeffscholls scenario )

This one was taken with 50º aprox tilt

ELOSSAM: that shot is just amazing!!!

Is it a stitched panaramic?

So, for realestate what do you recommend if you dont have the ability to tilt the camera in flight?

Oblique shots can be really nice where you frame the subject with a lot of subject and bit of sky, but I really like taking vertical shots because of the totally unique persective this can give - here's one from last summer:

Mark , no it is not stitched but a single frame with some cropping up and down as MPA suggestion.
Vertical shots (specially low altitude ones like the one showed by our friend Julian) are more difficult because it´s more probable you get some blur on them due to vibrations. If you can take pics like Julians one then you can say you have got a fine photography platform.
