Hello!
I have considered to buy a camera rig for my Vario Benzin Trainer
Regarding prices for camera rigs. As I can see you can get an Bergen Observer for the same price as some of the rigs on the market.
Are the rigs over priced?
What type of helifoto "platform" will give You the best quality?

The Bergen is a great machine and shoots amazing photos.

I however, have moved onto the airfoil systems for the improved vibration isolation and the ability to shoot video. The combination of the gyro stabilization (3rd axis) and the vibration isolation WILL BLOW YOUR MIND when you see what these systems are capable of producing.

The video from one of these systems looks like it was shot from a tripod on the roof of a building (that does not exist.)

The people, service and quality of products at Bergen are hard to compete with. However the image/video quality obtainable with the airfoil system is second to none, for the money.

Hi Jan K

I have to agree with flyboy Bergen puts out a lot of good products.

However in the field of video and photography the airfoil system is light-years ahead of the rest.

The first time you use one, you will be amazed at the quality of your first shots it is so user-friendly it will make you look like a pro the very first time. I guess you could call it plug and play.

Have fun be safe

With all the talk migrating to this forum I may have to try out the airfoil. Looks nice. For a lightweight, inexpensive, all carbon fiber mount look at the RotorKraft FS unit. The FS unit is pretty much for still photography. Great started unit.
