Hi guys
I am finding that on my evo 50 that the tail is letting go under hard 3d. I am using the 90 mm mah blades. I switched to the 95 mm mah blades which have considerably more blade area and it is a big improvement. Is this the solution or should I be speeding up the tailrotor with a gearing change as well?......Also I can't seem to find a list of upgrades for Hirobo machines....Does anybody have a web sight with those? Also I need a part number for the tr speed-up gear as well.
Just as a side-note...I just tried a set of the Rotortech 600's on this thing and they Rock!
They are very stiff and seem to transfer the engine power into performance, not into blade slap noise...the performance increase from Maverikk cf blades to these was night and day! This machine now tracks arrow straight at full speed....the Maverikks vere very pitcy in fff.....the machine is otherwise stock and I'm liken' it

Tail authority

Scotty,
The speed up pulley, if I recall correctly,is the same one that is used on the Freya, stock part.. I don't recall the number... I am using it with 90 mm blades and it holds during very fast backwards in STILL conditions.. It it is the leas bet breezy, then the tail often blows out, I am going to try the 95's..
JEFF

P.S. You want the "drive" pulley, i.e. the one that goes on the shaft driven by the main gear...
