My Posts This: Topic Forum | I didn't Know how much I could write at once,so here's a continuation of my last post.
A trained eye can spot the differences immediately between my mounts and others.
I will say that I'm not the greatest heli pilot,by any stretch of the imagination. What I have practiced, for the last 5 years,is forward flight and hovering extremely high to get pics and video. This I am pretty good at,but not good enough. This spring,if time allows,I plan on getting into 3-D.I didn't have any desire until recently.
By the way ,when our website was made(I'm not happy with it either),We had no idea we were going to be selling products. The pictures on my home page are items that are not for sale and will be eventually replaced. The only thing I can change or alter without costing 50 dollar per hour is the products page, which I had just recently added.
Because this type of photography is in its infancy, there will be plenty of other people that will build better and better mounts.I know this will happen.I think thats COOL and will benefit everyone. It usually comes out of necessity as with me.I could not find anything that would meet my needs,so I found the right heli's(eventually),and built what I wanted and needed. If no one else wants my set up,that's tough for me.If someone wants one, they'll get the best customer service they can get.Either way ,I'm not forcing anyone. And,if someone builds one better than mine, for less money, more power to them.
I have been personally and professionally attacked, lied about, and lied to,repetedly,on this and another site (that I'm aware of). This I recieved without provokation.NOT COOL!!!
I was told that I have more than enough correspondence from him for a lawsuit, but I will deal with him in a different manner.
My plan has 4 parts:
1-Let him self destruct
2-Don't sink to his level
3-Kick his butt in the marketplace by offering stronger, lighter, bigger, better mounts and heli's,for less money, with more features
4-try to POSITIVELY impact the industry
Now,this escapade has taken up way too much of my time.I also have another business to run,as I am Licensed Contractor in ND and MN. I am doing my best to get my products pages and photos up and running as quickly as I can. Please have patience.I really appreciate it.
It has taken me substantially longer than I imagined to get all the parts I needed to have made for all three mounts(jigs, servo brackets,etc...).As of today, the only parts yet to be finished are 2 more servo brackets, quarter scale and micro. These,I was told, were to be ready two weeks ago(should be done by Monday,if there's no more problems with production). As soon as I get these,I will post new pictures of the Industrial Camera Mount and the Twin, which is a bit different than the one on my site, because of changes during R&D.
In case anyone is interested, when you order my mounts,I can have the skids lengthened,if for instance, you want to use the small mount on a bigger heli,or the medium mount on the Twin. They are plenty strong and intentionally designed so.
I am also lowering my price on the medium size mount by $100 because of my friend.Make sure you thank him.
If anyone has serious questions for me,I will be Happy to talk to you.
From now on,I won't be responding to the negativity.I don't need it,you don't need it(although it was kinda fun),and most of all,our sport doesn't need it.I do apologize for letting myself get sucked in,on the other site.
This is a rapidly growing industry and I would like it to prosper with everyones innovations and ideas. That's how we got where we are today.
Final Thought:
Everyone is someone's child.Everyone's life is more valuable than someone's inflated ego and the almighty dollar.I pray that people realize the inate danger of flying over the heads of innocent people, especially if they are somewhat contained(like at a stadium or at some other upcoming event). This endangers all of us and our sport, not to mention someone's kids.
