It only took me about 20hr from box to air The instruction manual was not bad,It's a Hirobo 30 Lama. I just like the look of it, the oil-rig tail and the bobble canopy. i put some of my own tuch on it too now i need to redo my Viggy. i just got in the back plate for the tail gear from Flite Craft

What do you think ???

Pay attention

to the plastic where the screws go into the mechanics from the boom and main landing gear. the plastic was very brittle on my Lama and I had to rebuild it from scratch to get rid of the problem.

You can also stick a 46 or 50 size motor if you cut off the shim inbetween the mechanics and the motor mount and also lower the mount holes!!

Very nice 1UP, I have a new lama too, and they did fix the brittle issue, have not had any problems with mine. I like the cargo box set up to hide the mechanics, clever! Once again, very sharp!

Hey 1UP, thanks, I love the head. It is an MRB-III head by hirobo, I have done away with the blades that are in the picture. The blades in the pic came with the head kit, they are 500s and have a thin cord. I went with the three blade set from century, they are 530s and about average in cord. The heli is much happier with them. Set up for the head is not bad at all, just have to make sure you get the swash timing right (not hard at all). She hovers and flys right about 1200rpm. It flys like most muilt-blade heads, a little different in a hover, pitches up in forward flight, and balloons in turns. All this is pretty easy to get use to after a couple of tanks. All in all, I love the way she flys. Like you I'm running an OS .32 and a GY401 - 9253 on tail.
