My Posts This: Topic Forum | Don't worry.I went through the same thing when I converted my 30 to a 46 with the TT conversion kit. The upgrade 85 tooth gear is a hair larger than the stock 86. Run a few tanks though it and it will cut itself in and fit just fine.
I just converted it again to the constant drive gear system from Helihut that has a CNC machined composite 84 tooth gear and it too was tight, but after one flight it loosed up a bit and I have no doubt it will be just fine as did the others.
You're gonna like it! Much better gas mileage than the stock gear when using a bigger motor.
