Remittances - a massive transfer of wealth out of America

Remittances are monies sent by foreign-born workers (legal immigrants and illegal aliens) back to their home country. The transfers are facilitated by sending money through banks, making investments in the home country, or by returning to the home country while retaining bank accounts and other assets in the United States.

Remittances are essentially a tax-free transfer of wealth out of the U.S. Approximately $20 billion of Mexican remittances each year disappear from the U.S. economy via the institutionalized money transfer industry, never to return. While this massive amount may be considered virtual foreign aid, it is a non-sanctioned transfer of wealth that is based on a fundamental violation of America’s immigration and employment laws.

And there you have it. Slap a fat tax on cash money transfers to Mexico and ***BOOM*** we have a wall.

Now Mexico wants to build a border wall with Central America to keep out illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala

It seems Mexico agrees with Donald Trump's plans to build a wall to keep out illegal immigrants - but only on its southern border with Central America.

Mexicans are calling for the border wall to keep out Guatemalans, Salvadorans and Hondurans fleeing violence in their own countries.
They complain 'hordes' of immigrants pass through on their way to the United States -who are then simply deported back to Mexico rather than their home countries by the US.

Central American migrants are left stuck in border cities with Mexican officials unable to afford to send them back to their own countries, according to an article by one of the largest newspapers in the border state of Tamaulipas, El Mañana, titled: 'Yes to the Border Wall … but in Mexico's South.'

But while Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has mocked Trump's plans, many Mexicans praised the concept of a border wall.

'Trump's idea of a border wall is a good one but it should be on the southern border with Central America in order to stop the flow of Central Americans from entering both countries,' the El Mañana board wrote in July.

We need to make our laws reflect the same as the boarding countries. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Mexico has some harsh laws so should we. Bet Canada has much harsher laws also. They won't let all the liberal Hollywood people move there. What a shame.

It has been like this for years. The southern border of Mexico is one of the most secure borders in the Northern Hemisphere!!!

Here are a couple of libtards on stopping illegal immigration. Nobody said anything when the two losers below were talking about stopping illegal aliens from entering our country. Now, people are pitching a fit. Because they know Trump is the only one that would actually do something about it.

Trump is putting fear into the liberals.

Trump is a man of his word. The other two will say anything to get money and power. Trump uses his power to help others and empower them to help their self. The other two repress people and give government power over them. Just open your eyes to what has gone on over the last 25 years.

Also a lot of this money is income tax free. This country has an underworld that doesn't pay income tax and lives a cash life then exports it to a foreign country.

Yes a 35% tax on this money would be fair. Just think of all the past taxes they failed to pay. Maybe add a 10% penalty so lets say 45% for 5 years.

it's as simple as taking the accruing cost for the wall out of their foreign aid payments. It's not that hard of a problem to solve. Like we should be giving them any money in the first place....

A very sound Idea. High voltage lines running on the top. 72,000 volts would do to keep them off.
