Hi I searched dx7 for how to set it up for a sim. And when I tried to do what they said I don't have those options on this radio. I sent it in for repairs they fixed it and updated it. I'm thinking they have a newer dx7. I bought a multi pack of simulators off eBay I have realflight, Phoenix, Aerofly and reflex. Is one of these better to use? Can I use the same sim setup for all of them? When I'm looking at a setup how can I tell it's for a old DX7?

I think the sim port on the old style DX7 looks like a stereo headphone jack if I remember correctly. Setup of the radio itself is easy, just creat a new model named after the sim your using, and setup in"acro" mode. You will probably have to go into the controller setup in whatever software you choose and fine tune the channel assignments and possibly reverse the throws if needed.

Just go to another channel , select a new model call it sim and when the sim asks if this transmiter is in the list , just type in dx7 and go through the process with a model edit , and calibrate tranny etc
