Grudgingly accepted a fairly nice Axe rc heli, in trade.
Swash looks like it has separated. Picture.

The blade grip is broken, previous owner, crashed it.
Fortunately, rebuild parts and extra blades are there.

Advice from anyone that has re-glued the swash.
My finances are pretty low, and the last thing I needed
was a heli again, but I hate to have one sitting there in a broken state. Something about OCD and heli's that goes together.

The swash separated on the one that I had 10 years ago. I just pushed it back together and flew it. I remember mine as being a friction fit. The blade grips are weak. Use plastic ones instead of upgrading to aluminum and you will save other parts. I finally started keeping a few on hand.
The best upgrade I made was using plastic flat bottom blades. It was much easier to fly then!

Thanks for the input.It's actually not a bad looking
little bird. Agree with you on the metal parts.
If something goes,metal wins over plastic, most of the time.

On the early ones, the "gyro" was a rate gyro at best. I learned to fly the tail on this bird.
