I been out of the rc scene for 7+ years..

My first quadcopter was a Dragonflyer 3 then a Dragonflyer 5ti which was like over 10 years ago, I also own a trex 600n with a like new futaba 12fg faast... So I was familiar with heli flight and 3d flight etc...

I recently ordered but not yet received a rtf inductrix fpv heli with a dominator 3 w/diverisity fpv goggles...

I need a recommendation for a arf quad that can use a futaba faast receiver just for cruising around my 1/2 acre yard and stuff, no racing... I also want it to be able to turn off any stablization feature so it flys like a regular rc heli.. Maybe mount a fpv cam or a fpv heli

I would get more bnf but spektrum is a turn off, I want to utilize my futaba 12fgh

There are so many different quads etc. that its been weeks and I still do not know... Please recommend me something, price is not an issue

If I bought a eachine racer mounted a Futaba R6106HFC 2.4GHz FASST Mid Range 6 Channel Rx Receiver, could I cruise around with that and make some kind of rates so it flys slow?

---My dragonflyer V was not touched in 6 years, it wont work anymore as a result of humidity damage and no love...My nephew came over with a cheap amazon helicopter and let me play with it the other day...Boy did the Helicopter bug come back and hit me hard..---

I strongly recommend that you try to hunt down some local fpv flyers and get their help and advise.

If you are looking for a good fpv cruising quad I suggest you look at the 400-450 sized HK Quanum Venture Deluxe PNP (so you need to add your Rx, your Futaba would be fine). This comes assembled with fatshark fpv gear and a Naza m lite flight controller that includes GPS and return to home functions. At ~$200 it is very good value imho.

I have had one of these for almost 2 years now and it is still one of my favorite fpv cruisers. Google 'quanum venture deluxe pnp' for more info on this.

Cheers,

I have been looking at the blackout 330mm quad:

http://www.getfpv.com/blackout-330-...rame-w-pdb.html

Watch at YouTube

its larger then a 250quad so I can mount a mobius and a flight cam and it will fit 2250mah lipos 3s-4s. mount a naze32 or CC3d flight control which will do acro and line of sight normal flight. (no fancy GPS I dont think)

but I really know jack squat about quads. Just buy the recommended motors/esc and buid it I heard good info on that frame and items.

That is bnf with a spektrum receiver, I want to use a futaba receiver, if not I need to buy a spektrum dx6. I could get a modified spektrum dm9 module but from what I hear new safe dsmx doesnt work with dm9 very well...

Thanks I look at research all suggestions..

Thank you
