I have a TREX 700E DFC that currently sports an Align Speed set of clothes. I recently purchased a Funkey Bell 222 700 size fuselage and I would like to replace the "Speed" skin with this fuselage. Does anyone have experience with a build like this? Many have used a TREX 600 and stretched it to a 700 size for this build. I hope anyone with experience in this mechanics/fuselage combination could chime in to advise if there is a lot of modification or if this will drop in relatively easy. The good news is that the top of the motor on the 700 DFC is almost flush with the side frames unlike the version 2 TREX 700E, where the motor sits higher. Also, any tips on the ideal 12S battery set up facilitating easy battery changes with limited room in the fuselage with only the top hatch being removable? Any assistance is appreciated.

You can always make the cabin doors open for batt access buy cutting the fuse with a hot knife and put hinges on, also the upper cowling is one piece you might want to split that into a front and rear section to allow access to mechs otherwise you need to take rotor head off to take upper cowl off, boom and TT length might need to be cut down to correct length, might want to check the height of the mechanics were TT lines up with tailboom, just a few thoughts, might be "easier" to use a 600 and stretch it, Or to use a Vario fuse.
