I just bought a used Trex 450 Pro DFC heli.

It was a BNF model.

In setting up the tail for my system, it seems like the tail rotor connecting rod is not quite long enough.

I have the links backed off so there is a good 6-8 threads showing on each end. The ball link is in the closest hole on the servo arm.

I have to crank my limits way down on one side to keep it from binding. Normally i'd crank the rod ends out, but I feel I'm over the safe limit.

I took the rod off and measured it, it's 330mm or 13" as the manual shows.

It's got to be something simple that I'm overlooking.....

I guess the servo must be mounted to the frame . Maybe the boom is not seated good in each end . Or possibly move the servo.
