Hi guys, just wondering how many of you are using the bec in the 120 Powerjive on your 700s.
I have one flight on a goblin with bls servos and vbar, but im kinda having second thoughts about.

That BEC with a small 4.8V buffer pack is well able to handle brushless servos. You won't have a problem.

Thanks Dr Ben, sounds like a winner, after a bit of reading about buffer packs it ticks all the boxes for me.

Thanks again.

I am also been running Jives with a buffer pack for years, and now Pro Jives with a buffer pack or a Scorpion Guard, brushless servos as well.

It is my opinion that the buffer pack is not needed w the Pro Jive, but having one will never be a crime.

Correct. Buffer pack is not required with the Jive Pro. $15 400mah 4 cell NiMH buffer with his PowerJive, and he's golden.
Cool thing about the simple buffer pack is that if charged when installed, the Jive's BEC keeps it charged. It backs up the BEC, and the BEC takes care of it. It's a dead nuts simple, elegant, and utterly bomb proof system.

Sounds great, do you guys use a switch, and do you use the buffer pack to power up the radio gear first before connecting the esc?

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
