Next Level 500mm Quad, Hi-Power Combo with Cobra Motors and DJI NAZA controller.

I bought and built this quad last fall. I flew it 4 or 5 times and I’m just not into quads so I’m trying to sell it.

It is all new, flies perfectly, and handles a camera like a GoPro very well.

Never crashed, no issues or damage at all. I added the orange tape for visibility but it can be peeled off very easily.

I have around $670.00 into it and I’m asking $400.00 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 US.

DJI Naza Multi-Rotor Controller

The DJI NAZA is a lightweight multi-axis control platform specially designed for aeromodel hobbyists. It is a small all-in-one module that includes a flight controller, gyroscope, accelerometer and barometer. The Naza has D-Bus support that will interface with the Futaba S-Bus system. It also features upgradeable firmware, and an expansion port for adding additional peripherals.

All-in-One Design:The Naza'a All-in-One Design integrates the flight controller, gyroscope, accelerometer and barometer into one package, which simplifies installation and saves space.

Advanced Attitude Stabilization Algorithm: Advanced guidance and control algorithms provide extremely stable flight. The Naza inherits outstanding the flight stability of higher end DJI products, while providing excellent maneuverability to give hobbyists a superb flight experience.

Low Voltage Protection: Two-level low voltage protection protects your multi-rotor from a low battery condition. First, a low voltage LED alarm will flash to let you know the battery voltage is getting low. Second, an automatic landing program will kick in if the battery gets below a safe level.

D-Bus Support: Digital Bus Support allows for interface with digital receiver signal systems such as Futaba's S-Bus system.

2-Axis Camera Gimbal Stabilization: The built-in camera gimbal stabilization module is compatible with almost all 2-axis gimbal systems. This system will automatically adjust the gimbal and camera according to the attitude of the multi-rotor.

Upgradeable and Expandable: The Firmware in the Naza controller can easily be upgraded with the included USB cable when newer versions become available. An expansion port also allows for additional modules such as GPS systems to be added at a future date.

With a 3-cell Li-Po battery pack, at 11.1 volts under load, the Cobra 2217/20 motor turning GemFan 10x4.5 props will produce the following performance numbers at full throttle:

Pitch Speed - 30.6 MPH

Four of these motors together will produce a total of 3764 grams or 132.8 ounces of combined thrust at full throttle. When assembled, this combo kit will weigh 40 ounces without a receiver or flight controller board. Depending on the flight controller board and receiver you use, the ready to fly weight with a 3-cell 3300mah battery pack will be in the 50 to 52 ounce range, and with a 3-cell 5000mah battery it will be in the 54 to 56 ounce range.

To maintain good maneuverability and performance, we recommend that the maximum flying weight of this setup should be no more than 60% of the total available thrust. For this power system, that would be 80 ounces maximum take-off weight.

Also included in the Combo Kit is a 4-to-1 Power Harness that allows you to run all 4 speed controllers from one battery. The power harness has a male Deans type power connector on one end, and a set of 4 3.5mm Male and Female bullet connectors at the other end. In addition to the bullet connectors, there is a male JST power connector for providing power to other items such as FPV gear or LED Nav lights.

Next Level Speed Controllers are designed for use in multi-rotor type aircraft, and have all of the parameters pre-set for that purpose. This version of the Next Level 30 Amp ESC comes pre-loaded with the new SimonK firmware for optimal response in your Multi-Rotor model. The SimonK firmware allows use of up to 600 Hz control signal refresh rates and and provides nearly instantaneous response to command signals from your flight controller board.

This product is manufactured with approval from SimonK, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this ESC will be donated to the SimonK software development fund.

The 30 Amp model comes with pre-tinned leads on the battery side, so the wires are ready to solder to your favorite battery connector. The motor leads come with female 3.5mm bullet connectors already installed, so they are ready to plug into any motor equipped with male 3.5mm bullet connectors.

Please Note: Due to the faster response rate of the SimonK firmware, you will most likely need to turn down the gains slightly in your flight controller board to prevent over-control or oscillation of your Multi-Rotor model.
