I feel bad tossing out this entire servo because one electrical component is malfunctioning. Can anyone use the hardware to a Savox SB-2272 tail servo?

Did your servo get hot and burn up by chance? I have the same one on my heli and afraid it's going to burn up because it gets way to hot

As is the case with most tail servo failures, she just stops working (I did not check for temperature on the spot. Usually after some in flight hunting (acting like a high tail gyro gain) of the tail she burns up after a flight or so.

I opened up this servo and smells like fried plastic.

I just had a Savox sv 1274mg do the same thing on the first flight on a Goblin 500. About 2 min in to the first flight it developed a violent tail wag. I was lucky to get it to the ground . I checked my gain and lowered it. Took it up again , same thing happen about 2 min in. When I got it to the ground , it just quit working. So seems to be issues with savox servos. When back to BK and everything is rock solid.

Not to jack up your sale thread but same thing happened with mine. Bad wag back and forth so hard and it was 200 degrees.

You guys using ikon?
I remember seeing somewhere that the ikon doesn't work well with many savox servos.

Beastx plus. Will never buy another. I bought a standard version bx instead. My gain was down to letter D and still had the issue 3 minutes into a hover.
