I'm a huge fan of the nitro powered Thunder Tiger Raptor series. It's what I started with back in the 1990's and while I own and have flown other nitro helis, I just find myself deeper and deeper into the Raptors. A few years ago I bought the carbon XeroG Raptor CCPM airframe that was used for the RC Heli Magazine writeup. I posted about needing several parts to complete the build and somehow the XeroG guy found me. I know he's retired from the scene but does anyone know who that is and how to get ahold of him. He sold me an airframe kit and GAVE me a G10 kit. I suspect he has more. As I FINALLY get back to the XeroG build, I am so impressed I'd like to contact him and buy another airframe kit before they are forgotten all together.

hmm

Back in the day I also had this frame. Excellent frame I agree. If you need someone to CNC the carbon for a frame set let me know.

I'd like to find the XeroG guy. It looks like he doesn't come on RunRyder any more. His last post is from 2014 and his heyday was before 2010. I hope he is ok. I'm certain he has kits and frame sets still. He had quit selling them a few years ago and found me when I was looking for parts. He sold me a carbon frame set and gave me another in G10 and it sounded like he was sitting on some inventory. I don't think I want to otherwise get into CNCing frames for a Raptor but thank you for the offer.

I had one of these as well back in the day. Flew fairly well as it was basically a raptor, the only thing I didnt like was the geometry of that elevator bellcrank compared to the other two direct to swash servos, limits a lot of pitch and causes some funkiness at the extreme ends of the throw. It was pretty much a mediocre attempt to make a ccpm raptor.

You might give Len Sabato a call at JR America's as he was heavily involved with XeroG.

Baron Guss is the guy who designed it.
