Hey all! I used to have a bent frame xcell 60, and it was great fun! I miss it, and would love another. I know someone has to have one kicking around in their junk piles. Let me know what you have!

Junk piles, you say? I still fly my bent frame x-cells! I know a lot of people have said to me, I fly the Old School helicopters, but they fly good and don't need a lot of work, no problem with keeping up with the trend of helicopters. With my birds no one looks my way, my stuff is two old for them, not up to date the boys say, I also do not have to buy parts for I have been buying and saving all the parts I run across. With that said some one should have some parts in there junk parts, but I do not keep junk parts, only usable parts, the junk parts I have had have gone to the scrappers. I think you could find a bent frame xcell on ebay from time to time.

X-cell bent frame

No need for a bent frame if you cannot find one. Any X-cell is a quality machine. Actually the bent frame was prone to cracking, but the stacked frame is excellent. All X-cells fly extremely well. In addition parts are now being made in Germany.

I still have several Xcells, most of them are in fuselages and the ones that aren't, are soon headed there. the Xcell has always been one of the most fuselage friendly helicopters ever with its compact "A" frame design and simple main and pinion gear drive train. it is easily adaptable and modified to fit most any fuselage and still allow room for a full cockpit. the c0nversion to today's electric power is simple as well. wether with the standard head or any of the multi bladed head designs on the market, they fly and handle very well. Life in a scale fuselage is a great way to continue flying and preserve a machine like the Xcell.
