I'm guessing Dwight is the guy on the left. No clue who the other individual is.

I know...

He was famous for cooking pop tarts on a habachi grill, while sitting on the couch he brought to the Schluter Cup...

Jumps out of perfectly good airplanes now!

Ahh, the good old days...

At a contest in Pennsylvanian.

When those things had a boom strike, at the end of an auto, it was something to see!

Like SAB briefly tried and bagged, that Interceptor had a drooped boom section to make it "look" level in forward flight.

I still remember Stan doing pushups in the ready box waiting flight time when he called for Dwight. always high energy. Also the first guy I saw do super low headspeed hovering. That was around 90 or 91 at the Schluter cup in NJ and he was spinning something like 1100rpms, maybe lower. Blades on the floppyhead were coned up at a pretty strange looking angle.

Stan was a really good pilot too!

He and I flew together quite a bit when we were both in NY.

He was always good for a bit of a goof and made events always a little more fun.

I gotta admit, I miss those days.
