I have read all the manuals plus search the web extensively. All instructions and manual instructions have not worked. I have binded several systems in the past with no problem.

This one is getting the best of me.

What is the secret to binding these two together? The Heli is a TRex 700.

Thanks, Dennis

when you power up the receiver in bind mode, are you getting the rapid flashing on the satellite's led?

Just put your bind plug in the slot, power the ar7200x, push your bind button on your 9503 and power the radio. Make sure you have sufficient power and your bind plug isn't damaged. After you've checked all that, you should be good.

Demetrius, First I love the radio to. I had a DX9 and found it a lot harder to use than the JR. I did like some of the features on the DX9 this doesn't come with the JR.

Second, I have done "exactly" what you have stated. It will not bind. I had another Helo to bind, and it went perfectly in less than 15 seconds.

I am going to double check the voltage on everything. I flew my 600 about an hour ago, so I know my radio is charged. Of course I checked it before I ever energized the 600.

My 700 was bound to another JR 9503 radio, so I know it should work!

Dennis,

I'm sure you're doing it correctly, but just a couple of things to try.

Can you substitute another satellite and cable, and make sure the radio is a couple of feet from the receiver when you try to bind.

2 days ago, I bound this radio with a JR receiver. No problem, 15 seconds and it was done.

I just tried again. I made sure the battery was fully charged, transmitter charged.

I tried it with 2 different bind plugs.

It's not binding. I am lost at this point.

I've had the same problem before being too close to the AR7200BX with my 9503. Give it a try from a little further away

I performed the procedure 3 more times, I was 15ft away from the receiver.

I held the bind button on the transmitter all three times about 1 1/2 minutes.

No luck. The orange lights on the back row just goes back and forth.

When I power it up with the bind plug in, it definitely looks like it's trying to bind.

Still thinking,

Dennis

Dennis, isn't a satellite required for binding? Do you have more than one to try?

No satellite is required to bind to an AR7200BX. have you tried it with only a bind plug and a power source to eliminate the possibility of something peripheral (like a bad satellite or wire) causing trouble? I bind most of my gear with a receiver pack on the bench before even installing in the airframe.

I didn't won't to unhook everything, but I will.

I do have the power source, comes attached with the radio charger.

Later today I will unhook everything and try binding with just a power source.

I believe you put the power source plug in the opposite end of the receiver. Other words, the bind plug goes all the way to the left, and the power source goes all the way to the right?

The DSMX is hooked up.

Ron Lund has a great YouTube video of him binding a JR 9503 to a MicroBeast system. I am almost ready to try this with my unit.

The Spektrum has the button in the bottom corner. ????

I wouldn't try to use the charge lead on the wall tranformer to power the unit. I use a nimh receiver pack. but Any 4 or 5 cell pack will work. The bind plug must go in the bind port at the far left as viewed when looking into that end of the unit. The power can go in any other slot.

UPDATE: I have another helo that is binded to my radio and it works great. It also has the Spektrum 7200Bx. I copied it to another location on my radio. When you do this, you have to bind it to the new row selected.

I changed models to the new one I just created. I tried the transmitter and nothing happened as I was expecting.

I then put the bind plug in, fired up my 9503 while holding the bind button on the rear, and in "15 SECONDS" the radio binded up with the helo. All controls work perfectly. The only difference between the 2 setups, is my 500 has a VR5203 dual output regulator on it. I don't' see how this can make a difference, but thought I would add everything to this scenario.

While trying to bind my 700 (the one that just wont' bind), I tried it up close, and tried it 15 ft away. It didn't matter.

I am wondering if my 7200BX is bad or ? Or is the 5203 making some sort of difference?

I am almost at the point to order another 7200BX. Or take the 5203 dual regulator off my good helo and try it on the 700.

I am thinking out the box now. I have run out of ideas.

I am confident in my equipment now as it worked perfect on my other unit.

COMMENTS?

Thanks, Dennis

One other thing you might try before you throw it to the trash is do a factory reset. Then try the bind procedure again.
Good luck.

Pilotpin, will I have to reset everything on the 7200BX? Settings A thru N I believe?

I just found the answer hiding in the manual. YES, you do have to reset everything according to the manual.

Thanks Again,
Dennis
