I have a TRex 600

Regular Mode works fine.

My issue: In ST1 or ST2 mode, I have to put the throttle up 1 notch before the motor starts spooling up to the ST1 or 2 setting.

Normal mode works fine with the transmitter (JR/DSM X9503). Throttle works fine.

In ST1 or 2 mode, if I pull the throttle all the way down, it kills the engine. You have to push the throttle up to the first mark before the engine starts spooling.

Where do I change the settings on my radio so when I switch to ST1 or 2 mode, the engine starts spooling immediately without touching the throttle stick, and the stick is in the lowest setting. Plus I need to set it where the engine doesn't kill when I bring the stick to the bottom throttle position, happens only in ST1 or ST2 mode.

Throttle Hold works fine in all 3 modes.

I did adjust the tail rotor trim today, but that's all. I have changed this setting a few times before today.

Thanks for your help.

Dennis

NOTES: Trex 600 Pro with the Microbeast, JR X9503 radio

I flew the 600 today and fine tuned some settings. PERFECT, everything work perfect, and my Pitch curves are set right where I want them. Thanks for the help and advice, Dennis

CoachE,

You were on the money. I check with a friend who has a similiar radio. He looked at his values and relayed them to me.

I set my radio up to match his settings.

BINGO, everything is back to normal. Heli is working correctly.
My ST1 & ST2 have different settings, with ST2 being the more aggressive.

What is your suggestion for the "NORM" settings?

Also, The EXP on/off, I didn't touch this setting, but exactly what is it for? I am reading the manual now, and it really doesn't state it's purpose. I am just curious, I am not touching it, my friends radio is also set to "off".

My heli is a TRex 600E Pro 3D.

Thanks for your help.

Dennis

Now I have to find out why the receiver is beeping 3 times continuously now. Always something, but it seems this should be simple.

the EXP in the throttle curve menu softens the curve around mid stick to help give you a more stable hover.

Slowpoke, THANKS

Should it be set to "off" or "on"?

I am not a 3D flyer, just a sport flyer (still learning, LOL)

I'd leave it OFF, unless you're still in the learning to hover stage. It sounds like you are past that.
