Hi Guys ...

Been flying the 12Z with the 2.4 module for years now want to fly with CGY 750 and looking at getting the 18 SZ , just wondering what the users out there think of it and the features it has for only Helicopters ...

Cheers

For the price it is an unbelievable radio. I am helis only and this radio does it all without being complicated or difficult. I started with a 12FG then went to the 14FG and now with the 18SZ. Couldnt be happier.

Other than being newer, having a touch screen and more channels, the 18SZ will be very, very similar to the 12Z. Perhaps a few more options, and the big one......telemetry.

Well sort of. Started out as 12FG s/w. Plus of course Telemetry and S.Bus. Then they added SPLINES. Not quite up to 12Z standards but close. But it does do T-FHSS and FASSTest.

I went from 14sg to a 18MZ then down to the 18SZ. SZ is almost everything the MZ is at 1/3 the cost. I liked the sg but the jog wheel was terrible for me. made using it hard. having a touch screen makes futaba so much easier to use. I don't know what the SZ doenst have that anyone really needs. you wont be dissipointed
