Hello. I have an unresolved throttle trim issue.

I have a good square throttle linkage setup but can't get the trim to work as desired. The trim is set to ATL at +30 rate and normal. The step is set to 10.

I can't get the trim to have any servo movement below half trim. It is also difficult to get enough throttle to start.

On this radio the trim has no visual effect on the throttle curve page, unlike JR where all variables are shown. I have never encountered anything like this in 18 years with JR.

Please help

I'm pretty surprised that no one can help me on this issue.

Maybe not a lot of 18SZ's out there?

Try using a negative ATL number. I just tried messing about, and from scratch it was the same as you have. I messed around with rate, using positive and negative values, Normal, centre and ATL , and normal and reverse.

It now works with the trim only affecting the bottom half of the servo movement, and not the top, which I assume is what you want. Why it is now doing that, on the original settings, I am not sure....

Thanks Jabber

It is working only across the bottom half of the throttle range but it has no effect in the bottom half of the trim range.

I hope this makes sense.
