Take the head gain up to at least 60% or even 70%. Compare how that flies and report back to me. I don't want to overwhelm you with too much if the problem is simple.

Tried it at 60 and 70 feels really unstable

at 60 wanders around a lot and feels really sluggish on cyclic on 70 i thought it was going to tip over when i spooled it up

Does the gyro's home screen show the gain you have in the transmitter? It cycles through rud, ail, and ele gains, and ail and ele will always be the same %.
What sws rate %?
How much cyclic pitch do you have at that sws rate %?
Default cyclic rate?
What is the Style setting set to?
What blades?
What headspeed?

yes it shows the gain if i go up in the transmitter it shows on the gyro

7deg of cyclic pitch

3d on the style

not sure on the blades and the head speed it is a 1100kv motor

sws rate 32% and pitch rate is 35%

Go up a degree to 8 degrees static cyclic.
If possible go in one hole on the servo arms of the swash servos so you can increase the pitch and cyclic numbers for better resolution.
Set VALUE for response style to 70. (you didn't tell me where you had this set, so I presume at default of 50)
Set head gain to 70%
Set the cyclic rate to 280 (you never answered this question)
Make sure you have the cyclic servo frame rate set to 285Hz.

That's a problem. Increase it to at least default of 130.

I was unclear in my post. Swash ring should be at default or 130. Keep head gain at 70.
