Hi.
Its a long time since I last setup a new heli on my Futaba FG8 super.
I cant get the throttle trim ONLY to work in normal flight mode (and maybe auto.mode)

I do not want the trim to have any function in idle ups.

I remember it was possible on my old 14mz....

Yes the 8FG does this, it was added as part of the ver2 software update.
Go to "Link" menu and select "Function" setup screen, move
cursor to "Throttle Trim" usually this is T2, go into any of the idle ups,
push "RTN" for 1 second, an "X" shows up next to Throttle trim.
Engine trim should be inhibited at any condition except normal.
You can check it on the servo monitor screen.
(Note: It still shows on the main screen trim indicator)

Hi
I think i'm missing something...

I opened the Link menu -> Function.
Moved the courser to T3, hold the RTN for several secs.
Nothing happened.

By any change someone has some pictures/video showing how-to-do?

You have to be in one of the idle ups or throttle hold, it will not turn on or off in normal.

Your the man! Know it works thanks.

I geuss it would not be possible to "combine" the thr trim in normal mode and hold/auto...

Unfortunately no. Throttle hold is a mix that takes priority on the throttle channel.
