What LaDon said about the helicopter industry being down is accurate. I fly for several manufacturers and there is no question that the overall market is down.

Hopefully, it will recover at some point, but for now people seem to be infatuated with anything with the term "Drone" attached to it.

With the caveat that I have not tried FPV racing, the only drone that really has done anything for me to this point is the JR Ninja-because you can fly 3D with it (i.e. do something other than just cruise is around or let it cruise itself around).

I intend to continue flying my Forza's for the foreseeable future.

12'total? 12 total of what last year? If you are going by what was just on the website then you can't go by that. The website was not kept very current on that part of it. Prolly about half of the Heli pilots were signed on in 2013 and 2014. I myself have eliminated a few and only put on about 10 since I started 1 1/2 years ago. Airplane side has been a few more but not many

Of course I'm going off the web-site...???? That's the "Quote" thingys..

It's not kept current?? and we maybe closing in on the problems.

If I can't reference the JR web-site about JR "stuff"

And JR doesn't make airplanes.

They sell helicopters and radio systems.

Thanks for responding LaDon, but Sir, keep it real.

...You are fighting with a longtime customer....who wants to buy JR stuff...never mind.
Have a nice day.

Man don't read more into it than what was written. It was just the team page that wasn't very current. Also I have complete access to when team members were signed on so I do know what was on here for a team. What I put up about the amount of team members numbers was correct whether anyone likes them or not. We did not just put hundreds on this year like what was said above.

That being said I love my Jr stuff. It has been the best we have ever used. I would love it if the helis were continued but it is not my decision.

Radios and servos are not being affected.

Also we have an airplane side and a Heli side of the teams. I know this because I am the Heli team manager

Keeping it real was why I responded to the hundreds comment because that comment wasn't real

I had to cut my earlier post short as I was at work. Also GStone we do have a drone racing team. So in all JR Americas has three teams. On the Drone team is approx. 15 pilots give or take just a few.

Also when the team page was made up it was done when JR Americas was just getting going good. They share an IT guy with another company so they had to prioritize what was going to be done first. Obviously that meant that the product line and all the information for that had to be done first. Then it was improvements and more information on new products. Last was getting the team page sorted which is better but prolly not completely done like they would like to see it.

Ryan and I have been with team Jr Americas for 2 1/2 years. Me being the heli team manager for 1 1/2 years now since Scott Gray stepped down.

Airplane side of the team is Matt Balazs. He can be contacted off the team page too. He is in North Carolina. Matt is a super nice guy

Hopefully this clarifies some misinformation that might be floating around out there. Also I hope you will keep buying Jr stuff as it is by far the best out there right now in my opinion.

Also dude I am not fighting with anyone. I appreciate your business and I also appreciate the fact that you thought things were different than they are. I am a no BS guy. I will not blow smoke up anyones butt. If I know the answer I will tell. If not I will find out. That is why my name appears up there and not a nickname as I don't have anything to hide in any way shape or form.

Thank you

Went back and read an earlier post of yours too GStone.

About the parts not being available and not being bought. Unfortunately both can be true. About the parts not being available. Lots of companies use the just in time inventory. That don't work in this business but I would be willing to bet two things are happening here. One the heli companies don't want to invest a ton of money in parts for only a few ppl buying them. Two the Chinese companies making this stuff for them are gonna make what ever makes them money. They do not care about us they care about getting our money. So if they make say so so money on heli parts or they can make great money say making flashlights they will make flashlights and the heli company is at their mercy.

And also there are not as many parts being sold or ppl buying them so it is a double edged sword. That makes the manufacturers not make as many parts

Actually there might even be a third thing. The Chinese ppl are also wanting paid more. So with that happening prices are gonna go up. I think we are seeing that a little now but will be getting bigger in the future.
