Just got back in to flying again but even way back in the day and even still now almost everyone I meet while flying a Heli will inevitably ask the "age-old" question---->How High will it GO ? In all fairness from their perspective they have no idea regarding orientation and radio range. If I'm feeling like a "Smarty-pants" I'll say something like-- well there's an invisible glass dome up there about 200 ft. Don't wanna hit that ! (in my best Maine accent) if I'm feeling dead serious I'll try to explain it best I can, What do You usually say ?

I tell people that the blades will melt off if I get too high. That's why I keep it "close".

I tell them it will go as high as I can see. It's just that now, I can't see as high as I used to...
