Barry
You should have made the trip and put it back in the trees so Stan would have something to do LOL

tree cobra

Hey Barry,
Even Andy flew it without putting it in the trees....and that was with a bad tail servo! I don't want to spread any rumours but I thought I heard Stan say something to Andy about finding a new pilot for team scale.....Mark

Dalton was AWESOME!!!!!

A little hot at times, but just another fantastic event!!!

Thanks to Darrell for the most amazing hospitality and to Joe Howard for a fantastic steak dinner.

And thanks to everyone that took the time to school me on scale setups and big machine flying. Thanks to you all, I have a big heli that is pretty fun to fly now.

Home!!

Well, I made it home yesterday... stayed to give Darrell a hand with the final clean up...
As the others have said, it was another great "Dalton"!!
The heat slowed some of the flying, but nothing that kept us down for long....
Barry, these guys aren't letting you up too easy!!! But, the Tree Cobra is back and flying nicely.... and it wasn't me that suggested getting a new partner in Team Scale!!! (Marcus is coming along nicely though!!!!!)
It was great to see everyone and to just sit and shoot the bull for awhile... sometimes we miss this part of the hobby.. it was fun..
Thanks to Darrell, and Joe for some real good eats...
Number 16 is in the books and already looking forward to number 17!!!!
To those that missed it, you were missed, and I know that 2017 will see you all back....

Sitting quietly in the corner of the hanger, licking the open wound on this thick alligator skin... LOL, hopefully I can make Dalton next year. Drag Jim, Mark and Taylor with me. My work schedule appears wide open after June. Hell, I may even slap some paint on the big R22 for the event. I can guarantee you one thing, it won't be "tree green" In the meantime, I have a EC135 to maiden for HSM in 2 weeks...

Wow... I really need to make it to Dalton next year. Fabulous models and sounds like a great time. Thanks to all for submitting the pictures!

Anybody have info on that bare UH-60 Blackhawk fuselage pictured? Is it in production or a one off? Any dimensions available?

Regards,
Chris
