I had to continue the saga seeing how much interest has been shown, and I really appreciate that.

So today, it was ready for its maiden, but pix first

And the happy builder.

Then it was time for flying. And guess who let his transmitter battery go completely flat

Oh well, we live to fly tomorrow

After a few stops and starts for trimming, we ended up with a reasonable maiden voyage. The ESC overheated and started to shut down at the end so he did a semi powered auto and landed nicely.
