Peter Wales....you jumped on Warhawk2112 on his Poor Service from Joe Howard! You told him to give him a break!.....Well I won't give him a break, I have been waiting for stuff that I ordered back in January and more in February.....before he got his boo boo in March! Joe told me in January he did not know if Vario had a part for the number I gave him! Well I did my homework and did check with Vario in Germany before I ordered from Joe Howard and in fact they did have the part! Well it is now the sixth (6) month and still no parts! How can you build with this kind of service! It looks like I might be better to cut out the middle man and order my parts direct. I might not have to wait so long (half a year and counting) for helicopter parts and I can get on with my builds. O yes I have more than one Vario scale Bird, and I have been into rc helicopters for over (25) twenty-five years, at this rate I'm sure not to buy any more with the stellar service I have received.

very bad customer service

Well Joe, I never got a order number from you and if I did I took it off my e-mail months ago. I'm not going to go into the part number in question here! But the order was over 200 bucks worth of stuff, three different items, but in quantity of more than one. At that time you tried to tell me there was no such part! And I don't like everyone to know what parts I'm buying or how many parts I want by showing on a forum. My money and what I spend it on is only my business. I could still give you the part number and I'm sure that would bring back your memory.

PM me the part number. I looked through my emails for the last year, and see nothing for this. Also, my accounting system goes back to 2004, and i was looking for you to get your phone number since we log that with each order that a customer makes, you are not in my system at all, meaning you have never ordered before from us. So if this is based on a phone call in january, i dont know.
Just trying to clear this up.

My lost order fo January and Feburary

Joe, This was not done with a phone call! It was done with email, how long did you keep emails? After four months I took it off my email. The email order was for four
(4) motor mounts, one (1) yellow skyfox canopy and four (4) sets of tail blades!
And Yes I still have the numbers for ALL the parts! I also gave you my credit card number at that time too! Except it has changed now,also I could even give you CASH! if that was needed, but I don't think so. I have been in this hobby for 40 years, so this not my first go around. So when some one won't take my cash, I'm sure to find someone who will do it in a timely manner. Six months is really ****ty service! I think peter wales jumping on warhawk 2112 was way out of line, this is why add had to add my 10 cents to it. Don't tell me you did not get it, because I added to my order in February of this year. LAST... no phone number it is only given to my friends!

I keep emails for two years.
All the items you are talking about would be in stock items, and i would have no need to ask Germany for a part number. Dont know where that came from.

No Joe, you did not carry one of the items I wanted, and you did not have the yellow skyfox canopy in stock a that time. The stuff I ordered were not ordered here, but from east coast vario.com. I never ordered parts from you here, on this web site. FYI

I didn't jump om warhawk, I explained very pleasantly the problem.,The thing is, we never got ant finite information as to dates and order numbers that it is impossible to check back into what happened.

The same thing is happening with you. You need to send Joe the part number as prices, Also keeping your phone number to you a 45 revolver If makes it difficult to offer you our iightest level of support.

I dont suppose that you know widbird, or maybe you and he are the same guy

Peter Wales, Foe your information....the stuff I ordered from Joe was with PART NUMBERS and I did not see your name on my order so you can keep out of my order, or my conversion with Joe Howard with stuff I had ordered six (6) months ago.

I have purchased parts and entire kits from Joe at East Coast Scale and his service has been great. I have nothing but good things to say about Joe and his customer service.

Are you sure you ordered from East Coast Scale??? Are you sure it was not Airstar since the type of customer service you mentioned sounds more like Airstar???

Kglassman I think its a bit rough to tell Peter Wales to stay out of this when it was you who brought this issue to public attention on RR.

If I was you I would communicate directly with the vendor or get your parts elsewhere as this thread is now pointless and going nowhere.

I'm a Hirobo, JR, flybar, nitro and all things helicopter fanatic!

I have bought a Vario Benzin Acrobatic and many parts from Joe Howard and his build work, support and customer service are top notch.

I have nothing, but good things to say about Joe Howard.

It sounds like he might be confusing Josef at Airstar with Joe Howard, which explains why he would have to order from Vario in Germany.

I too am confused by this thread. I have ordered parts for years from Mr. Howard, some current stock and many "special order'. I have never experienced anything other than outstanding service. Phone calss are returned promptly, always within 24 hours and e-mails typically the same day. If a part delivery will be longer than expected I receive notification of that as well. I would not presume to "butt in" on your thread or personal experience but your issue with service seems to be so drastically different than my and my hobby friends experience with Mr. Howard that I can't help but believe something went completely wrong and a misunderstanding is at the root of the issue somehow.
Regardless, my point is as with any issue there are 2 sides and I would like to say and trully believe your experience is a complete anomoly, as Mr. Howard is one of the top businessmen I have ever dealt with, and will continue to do so without reservation!

This is not the Joe Howard way of doing business. I have been helped by Joe so very much in the past and always had superior service. Sounds like to me the one/ones that are doing all the hell raising must work for the federal "govment"!

I have had only great service form EastCoast and Joe. I agree that it makes no sense to call out Peter Wales and then tell him to stay out. Something's a miss here.
