Up for sale are (3) Futaba BLS451 and (1) BLS251 servos I was using on my cyclic. These came off my Goblin 700 which is also for sale. I find I only need 1 rc heli, that's it. These have approximately 25-30 flights. They function excellently and perform like HV servos. What is in the pictures is what you will receive.

Yes, 6 volts. Futaba had updated the operating voltage back in 2010. These are designed for flight packs which when fully charged can be over 6 volts. Cant find the Robbe spec sheet that showed it now, but this is not a new thing.

Futaba rates the BLS251 and BLS251SB for 4.8v ONLY. Would be very interested if you can find Futaba 6v spec rating for this servo.

I'm quite aware of the very old specs, however Robbe of Europe updated the operating voltages for all BLS servos.

These were designed around NiCd receiver packs which when fully charged can be 6 volts. Running this regulated voltage is OK. These servos are too old to go and update the sites found in a Google search.

Post #5 used to show the spec sheet however the page doesn't load now.

These are not old specs they are current specs, that is what the servo was designed for. If they were not, why then does Futaba Japan, the manufacturer does not update the specs as you are suggesting???

I have run every BLS 251 I have ever had at 6volts. Never had one get even warm or fail in any Heli they have been in and I am currently doing the same thing with my 600SX now.
It is not nor will it ever be a problem to run it at 6v regulated...
