I am setting up my used trex 450 with a 750 gyro and using my 8fg radio. I have way too much rudder throw for just a tiny bit of stick movement. It will basically just go back and forth between stops and I think it will be way too sensitive to fly. I test hovered it tonight and the tail just oscillated back and forth pretty violently. There has to be a screen to tame the throw down or maybe it is in the 750 gyro settings. The gain was set at 70% I remember reading the atv screen would do this but I do not see that option screen on my 8fg. Any ideas appreciated
Thanks
Jeff

What is your current servo arm radius? 450 class models often need only 8-10mm of radius. You trim out excess travel in the lmt menu in the 750's rudder menu.

Ben
I hovered it again tonight and had to reduce the rudder gain all the way down to 10% and still had a tiny bit of wag to stabilize after a quick rudder input and stop. I am guessing that I need to move the link ball into the inside hole on the servo arm? thanks for your advise

At the very least you will need the most inner hole. Sometimes a new hole drilled even closer is needed. The 8 - 10 MM is what to go by.
