Guys, quick question.....can a bent head axle cause high frequency vibrations enough to lean an engine to the point it quits?
I have looked at my fuel tank while hovering and it doesn't seem to be foaming, but I think that is my case. I did notice my blades were not tracking perfectly since I have had these engine problems....especially the same problem with different engines. Just trying to add up the symptoms so i can isolate the problem.
I took my head apart and found a bent head axle and replaced it... can't wait to hear what you guys think.

If the tank isn't foaming then that's not your problem. Check your clunk and clunk line in the tank and exhaust bolts and gasket.

60% of the time, it works every time!

No.

To troubleshoot, compare before and after one "changed" item/setting at the time to isolate.

A properly tuned engine stays tuned even after a crash provided no physical damage is evident.

Are the main blades tracking in a hover position and does it go lean in the same position?

If your engine is leaning out or just plain acting weird, here is a list of things to check (other than the obvious improperly tuned needle settings):

Clunk line in the tank was a little discolored and not as firm...replaced and the engine runs great!!! Thank you guys for all your input and knowledge.
