The grommets on my tanks have deteriorated to the point where they leak under pressure.
Does anyone have a source for a replacement grommet or an alternate solution? Maybe a different tank?

I have found you need to soften the sharp edges that hold the grommets if you want them to survive. Grab some 220grit and smooth the edges so they are rounded.

Replace the grommets as necessary after that.

The tank should be isolated from the frame vibrations if possible. It shouldn't be loose - if need be, bend in the plastic grommet supports with a little heat without the tank in place. This will help the tank from bouncing around and prematurely wearing the grommets too.

Sometimes I'll even throw a rubber band around the back of the tank to hold the whole works together in a pinch if I loose an isolator at the field and don't have a replacement.

If your tank's hole is 1/2 in in diameter, this might work for you if you can't find the OEM part....

As you may know, Ron is going to "retire" in September but he has indicated that he will be getting more of these in......

...oops - thought op was talking about the rubber tank isolators.

Dubro probably carries a 3-piece bung kit which uses brass tubes if you want to go that route.

Solved

@Juan; Talked with Ron Lund. His Trexstopper fits a .5 dia. hole. The Raptor tanks are 12MM with a big shoulder so it will be easy to enlarge the hole a bit. Same goes for header tank. Put myself on the wait list.

Ron is still making these up but he will be closing shop towards the end of the year.
