Can someone tell me if the 0404-319 tail assembly is designed for the Eagle 2 or is it for an older model, thanks guys

0404-319 is tail gear assembly. 0404-657 is tail gear box only, which is the same box used on 0404-319 and 404-663. It was not originally for the E2WC99, it was used on E2, E2WC97, E2-98Spec and Freya EX-WC and others as well. 0404-663 is the complete tail gear assembly including tail rotor assembly for E2WC97 and E2-98Spec. All 3 are for torque tube.

Tail gear box

Guys, I'll be putting together the tail gearbox for my shaft driven heli soon, my question is if you guys grease the gearing inside the tail case and if so what type if necessary, thanks

Ive used white Lithium grease in the past with good results.

After a few months of getting my new house done and moved in I can finally get back to building on this bird. Work is now starting on the tailbox. Being shaft driven this thing should be very smooth. I'll post more pics of progress in the next few weeksâ˜ș

Guys I've assembled the tail case and noticed there's very minor play in the shaft leading to the tail blades, is that normal, again it's very small play, also there's just a little bit of noise where the two internal gears meet, their greased, is that common too, thanks!
